In this 5th video on the Smarter Demos series, we take a look at some of the latest in omnichannel retail technology. While on location at NRF 2019: Retail’s Big Show in New York City from January 13-15, the SmarterCX team met with Danny Beltran, Principal Sales Consultant for Oracle, who showed us how to create seamless, fast omnichannel experiences for the modern customer.

SmarterCX: Hi everyone. I am here today with Danny from Oracle, and Danny’s going to show me some of the latest in Omnichannel technology. So let’s pretend that I’m your customer, and I’m a pretty demanding customer; I like to find what I want quickly and I want to get it quickly too. So can you show me how you can make that happen?
Danny Beltran: Yeah, absolutely! So, I’m going to go ahead and login with my credentials. We can support full biometrics login to make it quick and easy for the store associate. I can search for the customer; for example, I’ll search for Robert Goodman and you can see a quick view of Robert’s profile. Click on wishlist, then going to order this DAB radio and we’re going to order the item.
Then, select shipping method — second day which is standard, enter cash, and print the receipt. You came into the store, I sold you an item, and you’re leveraging RFID. I was able to sell an item off my wishlist, which I started online, and have it shipped to your preference, leveraging inventory across the enterprise.
